In Muğla, children and youth participate in free sports activities organized at sports facilities affiliated with the Ministry of Youth and Sports (GSB) after school. The goal is to encourage children and youth to take up sports through programs offered in a wide range of disciplines, particularly tennis.
After school, children and youth come to the facilities and participate in activities organized in various sports under the guidance of coaches. Among these activities, tennis lessons are drawing significant interest.
From racket handling to game rules
During tennis training sessions, children are taught how to use a racket, basic stroke techniques, and the rules of the game. These sessions contribute not only to the physical development of young people but also help them develop sports discipline and team spirit.
Activities are free
Officials noted that the activities, organized to increase children’s and young people’s access to sports, are offered free of charge. The goal of these sessions is to encourage young people to adopt an active lifestyle and make sports a part of their daily lives.
While spending their free time after school playing sports, children have the opportunity to discover their talents and develop their skills in the sports they are interested in.
