The Milas Municipality Children’s Library, which carries out activities aimed at helping children develop a habit of reading at a young age and fostering a love for the library environment, is drawing great interest from the little students—the treasures of the future.
Open every weekday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (except from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.), the library offers children access to fairy tales, stories, short stories, and novels. With books about Milas also available, students have the chance to learn about our district’s history and sociocultural characteristics.
At the Milas Municipality Children’s Library, where school field trips are organized to introduce students to the library and foster a love for it, students can register and borrow books. Students who borrow a book they’re interested in read it and return it to the library after 15 days so that their friends can also benefit from it.
BOOK DONATIONS ARE ACCEPTED…
The Milas Municipality Children’s Library also accepts book donations. Citizens wishing to donate books to help students access a variety of genres and expand their knowledge can make their donations to the Milas Municipality Children’s Library.
