The Denizli Metropolitan Municipality is continuing full steam ahead with its “No One Should Be Left Without Knowing How to Swim” project, which it launched to help women in the city learn to swim and enjoy their time by participating in social activities. As part of the project, approximately 80 female participants from the Pınarkent, Küçükdere, Yeniköy, and Irlıganlı neighborhoods—who are taking lessons at the Anafartalar-Dokuzkavaklar Indoor Swimming Pool—were taken on a day trip to Marmaris.
The women, who got to experience the cool waters of the Aegean, not only practiced swimming but also enjoyed a pleasant day surrounded by nature. The trip, organized by the Denizli Metropolitan Municipality, was also attended by Nilgün Çavuşoğlu, the wife of Denizli Metropolitan Mayor Bülent Nuri Çavuşoğlu, and Ayşe Sarıkaya, Director of the Department of Youth and Sports Services.

The trip also included a boat tour of the Marmaris bays for the women. The participants enjoyed the blue voyage against a backdrop of breathtaking scenery while taking breaks to swim in the crystal-clear waters. Rejuvenated by the sea air and the boat trip, the women immortalized the moment by taking plenty of souvenir photos at the end of the day.
